Is it safe?
We might have to fly to Fort Lauderdale tonight because I won`t be able to handle the 4 1/2-5 hour drive. Its so expensive though :(

I see no problem with flying or driving..like jaydsmom said, just get up and stretch your legs every two hours to prevent blood clots from forming..otherwise its okay.

Yes. I flew from North Carolina to Wisconsin when I was 30 weeks.

I flew lots in all three trimesters, but when I hit 32 weeks the airline insisted on a dr note. Check with your dr to make sure that YOU are fine to go on a plane, though. If you do end up going whether on the plane or in a car, make sure to get up and move lots. I drove from Ontario to Vancouver Island at 25 weeks and it took us 8 days. We just stopped every couple hours so I could pee and move my legs. Dr told me no matter what the method of travel make sure you don't cross your legs, and when sitting with feet flat on the ground, keep raising your heels up to get the blood moving in your legs.
