Damn Dog owners!

I`m so sick of irresponsible dog owners...almost everyday there is a nice load of crap on our yard. We live on a corner lot so ppl just keep walking while their precious little dogs leave ctap on our yard and then I have to make sure I get out there and clean it up so the kids don`t fall in it. How about I take my kids over to their yards and let my kids s*^t on thier front lawns....I` so sick of it. I have no problem with ppl who are GOOD dog owners and have well trained animals and respect for others but these ppl just infuriate me! Oh and the teenagers aren`t any better because they throw their garbage all over as well.. We have 2 schools on our street. I could fill a bag everyday and sometimes I do because no one else will clean it up!

GoonieMomma - 1045 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You can put up a short fence as a Corner-Cutting-Deterrant. Ppl did that in our neighborhood. Keeps people from cutting through the edge of a yard lot. Goes from the corner towards the center of your property (barn-like fence). Sucks cuz then YOUR kiddos suffer from not having full reign of the yard, BUT, dog poo is a health hazard, so you have to pick your poison. OR, you could pick up those "recently fertilized/pesticide application" signs from other peoples' yards (night time devilry) and post them on yours. Tons of people aren't worried about their doggies pooing on your lawn, but they don't want their precious pups tracking ick into THEIR houses, so they avoid your lawn. Love, a very responsible dog owner

We have a large yard and never let our dogs out of it because I definitely don't want them pooping on other people's yards. People these days are so irrisponsible and selfish, the only thing you can do is teach your kids what is right and what is wrong.

lillysmomma08 - 1046 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) If I were you Id post a sign in my yard in plain sight that says something to the effect "This is not the City Dump. Please dont litter and allow your animals to defecate in our yard!". Then Id post a fake Video Camera and leave a note that they were being videod..lol My parents are sick of this stuff too, in fact they live out in the Country and ppl keep driving by and dropping off dogs in front of their house they then get into my parents garbage and string it all over the place. The neighbor down the road from them has resorted to keeping a Camera in her purse and when she catches someone dropping an animal off she goes out and snaps a photo of their vehicle and license plate and takes it to the Sherrifs office. My mom spoke about putting up a similar sign in their yard, that says "We are not the local Animal Shelter, please dont drop off your animals in our yard, you are being video taped and violaters will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law". Something needs to be done about it, they have only owned their home for a year and there have been about 15 dogs dropped off in their yard over the past year also.
