Wondering when this thing will ever come out? I`m 39 weeks yesturday and still nothing. Has anyone else gone this long without your plug coming out?

MummyYumYum - 1033 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I didnt lose mine either, eventually I had a membrane sweep and it still took me a week before I went into full labour. Though I can tell you being in slow labour was no fun LOL.

antsmom - 1041 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Is it possible that it already came out while you were going to the bathroom and you missed it? I never actually felt anything when mine came out. I went to use the bathroom and there it was sitting in my undies... If I had been on the toilet, I would have never known that it slipped out. Just offering it as a possibility. Good luck.

I never saw anything leave me that came in chunks or looked like it could plug up anything really...Maybe I just don't know enough about what a mucus plug is supposed to look like, or maybe it came out during labor (we didn't have a mirror, thank god)

nikki80 - 1042 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) with my first baby i didnt lose my plug until they did an internal examination at 41 weeks and i still ended up being induced afterwards anyway...with each of my other 3 i had to be induced after my my due dates and didnt lose the plug till i was in labour

steffilily - 1042 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I lost my plug the morning I turned 39 weeks. I was excited and thought it meant something was sure to happen very soon. Then later that day I had my dr appt, and dr said that it meant baby would come out sometimes within the next 2 weeks. I ceratinly did not want to hear that! I wanted to be told in the next day or two. I had my son 5 days later.

jmschlotter - 1042 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I never noticed mine coming out, sometimes it is the description they give but sometimes it's just looks like a heavier discharge. At your next doctors appointment ask them to check you to see if you've dialated any and for sure you know it's came out.
