LONG STORY SHORT, LAST NIGHT I WOKE UP IN SEVERE PAIN IN THE ABDOMEN (WORSE THEN LABOR) WENT TO THE E.R. THEY TOLD ME I HAVE MILD PANCREATITIS TO GO HOME AND REST AND DO A LIQUID ONLY DIET. THEY SAY ITS CAUSE BY DRINKING..I HATE ALCOHOL, I MEAN HATE IT! HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS?

boystruckx2 - 1040 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had pancreatitis and I agree with Kell310. Mine was caused from not stones in my gallbladder, but from my gallbladder not working at all. Drinking...is ONE of the causes of it, but not the only. Sometimes people need to think before they talk LOL

Kell310 - 1040 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had pancreatitis and mine was after my daughter was born as well. It was not from drinking either. That was a dumb comment from someone in the ER. Di they check you for gallstones? I had gallstones that leaked and caused pancreatitis attacks.

jaydsmom - 1040 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My MIL had it and she has never drank, so that is stupid for them to say. Be very careful if they give you meds, though because the ones they gave my MIL caused her to have kidney failure.
