JuliMomOf4 - 221 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I've had this ever since my 3rd pregnancy. I wasn't anaemic at the time, but it usually is super low blood pressure brought on by anaemia. Apparently it's fairly common amongst women, my cardiologist told me that I have to be carefull when I stand up or when I look around. BUT I found that taking a multi vitamin helped dramatically! I actually AM anaemic now and because I'm on a pregnancy multi vit, my dizziness isn't so bad. Nothing worse than a tiny headspin. Whereas with number 3 and afterwards, I actually passed out onto the floor more than once. Very scary. There was no treatment for my low BP as the cardiologist could not find a cause for it. Apparently this thing I have is not uncommon. Seriously though, you should chat to your doctor about it, he/she will refer you to a specialist and you may find the cause of your dizziness. I really hope that you do as having no treatment SUCKS. My kids have all been taught to call 000 (ambulance) if "mummy hits the floor and doesn't wake up." Even worse, they've had to do it more than once.

I have super low blood pressure too. I also have a hypothyroid issue, they make check your thyroid levels as well. The doctor should definitely be able to help you, no need to feel faint all the time. Good luck!
