Playtex ventaire bottles

I am sooo frustrated!!! Ok, I broght a new born set of these over priced bottles ($30 for a set) and before my son was even one week old the measurements began to rub off. If I just moved my hand across the bottle some of the writing would come off! Now I have some plain bottles, that are of no use other than holding water.So I called playtex and they sent me coupons for 5 free bottles.... well the same happened to these. Anyone else having this problem as well?

antsmom - 1034 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I used these bottles for my son and never had a problem. I tried several different brands and liked these the best. I'm disappointed that I will have to buy all new bottles for this baby as the vent aire bottles are not BPA free.

I guess I should've complained so I could get free bottles. The new ones rubbed off also but Mariah loves them so I ended up using another bottle where the measurment were still on and poured it into the bottles. It sucks but I got used to it.

bdoe [kaylees mommy!] - 1034 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) All I use are the ventaire bottles and I have NEVER had this problem. I put them in the dishwasher and everything, How weird! I think they are the best bottles out there... they work great for us. The formula (or juice) comes out so easy for my baby unlike other bottles without the vent system. And the cross cut nipples you can get for these bottles are awesome if you have a baby with reflux and need to put cereal in the bottle, that way you don't have to cut nipples and such.

phoenixsmommy - 1034 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yeah I started with ventaire bottles and within a week or two the measurements rubbed off. i got too frustrated and ended up just switching to dr. browns. my son likes those bottles much better anyway.
