well my son is nearly 8 months old...i still look pregnant. Has anybody else had this? My stomach still comes out from the top, just like a pregnant belly would... I hate it so much!!! I cant wear normal tops, i have to buy baggy tops, i have been to the doctors when he was 4 months and he said to exercise. I am sure this cant be normal though because everybody else i know who have had children, their bellys went back down at the top. I hate going shopping now and i used to love it!!

jaydsmom - 1010 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I should also add that my dr told my to do the belly binding because after you have the baby all your muscles are stretched out (like HaleyD says), and this holds them in. If they are left on their own, they will get used to "hanging there all loose" (my dr's words) and are more apt to stay that way.

wwatters18 - 1011 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) could just be how your stomach "setteled" into place. sounds weird to say but i dont know what much you could do except exercise.

HaleyD - 1011 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Binding does not work....once your muscles stretch out you have to exercise to get them flat and tight again. You cant wear tight stuff to keep them tight. Sorry to disappoint. Don't want to give you false hope.

mommy-at-home - 1011 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) same here...

RobinG - 1011 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yup :( I had my first 13 years ago and sadly from that point on I alway slooked 4 months preggers. It never went down. And I do know many other moms just like me who still have the pregnancy pouch long after the baby has been born and grown... you are DEF not alone (())

Talitha - 1011 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) They make the belt that they usually give if you have a c-section but you should also wear it during vag birth it helps strengthen the muscles and put every thing back where it goes. It's been 8 mon. but you can still do this it does work..I have four boys and my last preg. I gained 40 pounds I did some walking about three miles three days a week and wore the belt. Have you been checked for hernia? You might want to do that just to rule it out.

HaleyD - 1011 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You need to do core exercises. Your abdomen muscles stretch out A LOT and need to be tightened back up.

jaydsmom - 1011 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I did belly binding right after my son was born, and I have no belly at all. He was my second child. Maybe you can still do that?
