Hi ladies, my boy is 9 months old, he`s not sick no fever no coughing just has really bad nasal congestion. I started putting him on the nebulizer yesterday it is better and tommorrow I will buy a nasal asperator to get the muck out of his nose. I use a nasal spray that the doc gave me and vapour rub for babies to help him breath easier. Do any of you have any good remidies for nasal congestion ??

dorolyn - 1009 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) do you have a vaporizer? Vicks makes one where you can pour a liquid form of vapor rub into. It worked really good when my son was congested. It cleared up his nasal passage and made him able to sleep throughout the night. I dont really care for the vapor rub so I never use it. Good Luck

Debra - 1009 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) holding him in the shower or sit in the bathroom with the hot shower on and let the humidity decongest him, humidifier, nasal aspirator, saline spray. www.mother-earth.ca sells a great product to help decongest- 'rosemary respiratory rub' why are you using a nebulizer? for prescribed medications? or for saline? I have a winter baby. Born in November 07 and had his first cold at 2 weeks old. He was pretty much sick most of last winter and this winter. He's got a cold right now too. He's also had Bronchiolitis and croup this winter too. SO, i consider myself a master at decongesting babies now. ha.
