My breast hurt really really bad to the point I wanna cry. They are hard and huge and when I pump almost nothing comes out. My lil girl is only 2 days old so she don`t eat to much

mariettap - 1007 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Congratulations on your new baby! OK, you're going through the hardest part right now, but it *will* get better. Your body makes a lot of milk at first, and then your baby only takes a little bit of it b/c she's so young. The extra pressure inside your breasts is what gives your body the signal about how much milk to make--It will adjust and you will become more and more comfortable. Here are some pointers: http://www.nursingmoms.org/breastfullnessfact29.htm

last.one.for.me - 1007 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) can you not put your baby to your breast? the best thing for engorged breasts and to help milk let down is to let the baby suckle - that's what's supposed to happen :] Even though you onlyt get a drop out with a pump, your baby will get more. My boy is 5 weeks and i can only pump 2ozs from both breasts combined, but he must get way more than that himself as he is always satisfied.. it will hurt when she latches on, but it will ease the engorgement no end..

ElesaB - 1008 days ago Ok I did but they still hurt extreamly bad. Only a little bit of milk came out

mom2twogirls - 1008 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Sounds like engorgement to me, you need to get into a hot shower and massage your breasts, its gonna hurt a bit but it will help get the milk to flowing, then when you get out pump them, once your milk lets down you should be ok.

jaydsmom - 1008 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yep happened to me too. When you stand in the very hot shower, start at the top of your breasts and push down with your hand until you get to your nipples. Push as hard as your pain tolerance will allow. As soon as you get out of the shower, use the pump and make the same motion with your hand.

RobinG - 1008 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) ((())) You are engorged, take a very hot shower and stand with breasts under water and massage them. This will help with let down. I had this with my first really bad too and that helped. It lasted a couple days then got easier hugs ~

tommiesmommy - 1008 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Do what ashysmm1 said. Also, relax. I'm not saying that disrespectfully, but if you relax your milk will letdown quicker!!

ashysmm1 - 1008 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) when that happened to me i would stand in the shower and squeeze my nipples to relieve some of the pressure try that and let me know hope that helps it did for me good luck.
