Tooks meds/antibiotics before I knew I am pregnant

I am now 7 weeks pregnant but prior to knowing it, I took Arcoxia (etoricoxib) (once a day for 3 days), Ciprolet 500 mg (2x a day for 3 days), Flutab (3x a day for 3 days) and Mafepain (3x a day for 3 days). My concern is that I was only a few weeks pregnant when I took these meds. Please enlighten me.. as I am worried that these meds had a negative side effect on my baby... I had my TVS last week and had informed the doctor about these meds which I took but she told me that it didnt affect my baby however, another doctor told me that it indeed has some side effect. I am scared that I might lose my baby...I am due on December 28, 2009.

Cindie - 1004 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You should be perfectly fine. so should baby. it was early enough in your pregnancy that it shouldn't cause any serious problems. I have to take pain medication for a back problem... and I had to take it the last 5 months of my pregnancy with my son. he was born perfectly fine. :)

crystalgee - 1004 days ago Hi LizetteCheree! Thank you so much for your reply. You just don't know how relieved I felt... I guess I'm just getting so worried over the stuff I took. But so far, all's normal with my pregnancy with the nausea, sore boobs, stomach cramps and back pains during this 1st trimester. I will be having my ultrasound on June 15. LizetteCheree - 1004 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Well im not gonna tell u its got NO side effects.I was also 7 weeks pg when i found out and i was on acid inhibitor and drank some potent strong migraine pills and was on an anti fungal also.Actualy my friends said ahhh u are preggers coz i noticed my period was late but didnt wanna be disapointed again so i waited.10 minutes before i took preg test i drank my pills not expecting to see 2 bright lines and after i felt so bad,thought my lo will be affected.But Andriette(today 4 months old) is 100% healthy and has no signs of anything going wrong.Id get a 3d opinion by someone like a pediatrician maybe if that makes sense.:-)
