Is there something other than pain meds (hydrocordone/ibuprofen) I can use to ease the pain I still feel from the episiotomy?

Tucks hasn't helped me at all. The doctor gave me some sort of spray but that is about as effective as the Tucks. Making an ice pack sounds like a really good idea though. Thanks.

When I came home from the hospital I had lots of pain as well.. I would fill a diaper up with ice and use that as an ice pack, that helped, plus my doctor gave me a numbing creme to put on it. My mil said to use tucks, but that gave me no relief.

6 weeks? Oh dear. That's around the time I go back to work.
I've tried soaking in warm water, and if anything, that made it worse. But the cool washcloth is definitely something to try

i know its probably not very practical but salt baths always helped me, or u could try a holding a cool washcloth on the area......its a tricky one but it does heal eventually....i was about 6 weeks pp when the pain went away completely....good luck xx
