last.one.for.me - 999 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) kadesmomma is wrong. The SINGLE MOST WORST thing you can is take a hot bath! When you get hot, blood rushes to the surface of your skin to cool down - blood GETS to the surface because your vessel and capillaries dilate to allow as much blood as possible to the surface. Now, imagine your haemorrhoid - which is a an already dilated and sagging blood vessel, warm it up in a hot bath and imagine just how much more it dilates and how much blood rushes to the dilated, sagging vein to cool it down because you've just scalded it in a hot bath!! If you're in any discomfort, get some medical, latex rubber gloves - fill the glove with water and tie a knot and place in the freezer. When frozen, snap off a finger and wrap with a clean piece of cotton - perhaps off some old bedding. The cotton is just to avoid ice burns, but place it between your butt cheeks and be instantly soothed. It REALLY helps to reduce the swelling and to divert blood flow to other areas to 'warm up'back up... I had haemorrhoids AND varicose veins in my vulva after childbirth, both afflictions gone within the week :)

kadesmomma - 999 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Oh, another thing that helps is taking a really hot bath and soaking your bum bum

kadesmomma - 999 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) OH how i looove tucks pads. lol they were my life saver after I gave birth. I would leave it for an hour and then put a new one on. My hemorrhoid was the size of Rhode Island and it really helped mine go away.

aidensmommy1 - 1000 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) After I gave birth the nurses told me to leave it there..But if I remember right the package says to wipe and throw so im sure you could do either.

karenbg - 1000 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Directions * As hemorrhoidal treatment for adults: o when practical clean the affected area with mild soap and warm water and rinse thoroughly o gently dry by patting or blotting with toilet tissue or soft cloth before applying o gently apply to the affected area by patting and then discard o can be used up to six times daily or after each bowel movement http://www.tucksbrand.com/medicated-pads#directions

karenbg - 1000 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I think you can do either depending on your symptoms; if it is just itchy, blot the area with it, otherwise I think you do leave it there.
