hey mommies! I just started giving my son formula and now he seems to be having trouble pooping what are some suggestions to help him go?

secondandexcited - 182 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) try a little prune juice in his bottle. No much...maybe 1/2 to 1 ounce depending on how much he eats. That should clear it up. We had to do that for my daughter for months, but it worked! Docs suggested it

happyforest - 183 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) when i started giving formula, they started him on regular enfamil lipil. he was constipated so bad, and didnt eat baby food yet, so i knew it was the formula. we had him switch to enfamil gentlease and havent had any problems since!! whatever formula brand you are using should have a gentle formula that is easier to digest.

xolblondieox - 184 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My babies had this problem too. All the iron in the standard Enfamil/Similac formulas was too much. I switched to Enfamil Gentle Ease and their BMs got reagular and soft.
