My baby is 6 months and he just recently got a cold. He has been sneezing and coughing like theres plehm in his throat. He has no fever though. I will be taking him to the doctor later this week. But is there anything i can give him or anything i can do for him to make it go away? Thank you ladies for your help!

sexymummy - 996 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) calpol is the best thing..give up to 5ml every 6 hours.. maximum is 4 doses in 24 hours! good luck and hope he feels better soon xx

mylittleman - 996 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) unfortunately there is no medication to give these little guys! As secondandexcited said, get a vaporizer and use a little saline solution up the nose and then suck away w/ the bulb syringe! That's really all you can do but it does make a world of a difference!

secondandexcited - 996 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) If you haven't done so already try setting up a humidifier with some vicks in it...that always helps my daughter. You couls also try a saline salt solution drops in their noses. Mackenzie doesn't really like this, but it gets all the snot out. Then just suck it out witha blub syringe. Good luck though...having a sick little one is NOOO fun
