Hey! Are you a mean mom? If so, please stop right there! I, along with others, I`m sure, have noticed a lot of bullying on this site, especially on the polls, and am sick of it already! this used to be such a positive place. I realize we`re all passionate parents, and also sleep deprived, sex starved, exhausted, and/or crazy hormonal from pregnancy, or breastfeeding, or pmsing, but just be nice already! So, before you comment on this or any other poll,question or page, would you just take a page out of your `mom mantras` - if you can`t say anything nice, don`t say anything at all. We`re all just doing the best we can ok? Motherhood is an art, not a science. Have a fabulous day :)

I don't think any post or blog is going to make me question my entire beliefs system. I don't try to change anyone's mind- I'll state my opinion as an opinion and I refuse to debate with anyone about it. I refuse the drama. I don't mind reading people's opinions as long as they are stated as opinions. Sometimes I just roll my eyes and move on with life! I agree with you though. And to be honest, I don't feel like that kind of nastiness is justifiable regardless of what people are going through.

ONLY JOKING LOL With the clash of so many different personalities, lifestyles, stresses and opinions there's bound to be some friction. I totally understand people getting a little worked up over something that is close to their hearts, but there's no need for flame baiting, or forum wars. If you disagree with something someone's posted, of course you can state that, but in a well structured and well mannered piece that won't cause insult. Everyone is entitled to their opinion...it may just not be the opinion YOU feel is right. Have a good day ladies. xx

I can understand why there can be so much fighting, everyone has different opinions and some thick headed people always think they're right...so there is bound to be fighting. I just think some ladies take it too far, I've seen a few attacks on any one person...which is wrong. It's one think to just be passionate about your opinions...but verbally attacking a certain person is just stupid.

Carrot - 991 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I agree.. I also would urge that the act of forcing religion /moral/rationalizations/beliefs on others be ceased ... I (like many others out there) am atheist , but I am subjected to the personal beliefs of these bullying moms, and I respect that they are individuals with their own beliefs and dismiss the behavior .. however , if the tables were turned I would be hated for stating my beliefs on a forum and perhaps banned from this site .. injustice. LADIES , TAKE THINGS WITH A PINCH OF SALT :).. relax and don't feel the need to cause a stir , we don't care for fighting or dealing with additional stresses that come from what was intended to be a friendly network full of resources. I agree with katiebickell , motherhood is unique in every instance , done with the intent to do the best you can do for YOUR child. To each his own , start respecting people.
