anyone else using mirena iud?

i have never used an iud before and im wondering if anyone else has been successful at having a baby after having the mirena removed? im really freaked out that it`s gonna screw up my chances of having another child in 3 or 4 years. i know the doc says it`s safe but i haven`t heard any success stories yet.

emma32uk - 989 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i was on the mirena iud, and when i had it removed it took two months to get pregnant, so i would really worry about it affecting your chances of conceiving. xx

mom2twogirls - 990 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have a cousin whose wife got an IUD and it got lost inside of her, she ended up getting pregnant right away and they never did find the IUD. We were freaking out that it was lodged somewhere inside of the baby. I guess it wasnt though, they never did find it, so I dont know if it fell out or her tissue absorbed it or what happened to it. I def dont want one after I heard that. lol

tylersmommy54 - 990 days ago the doc said 1% of women will get pregnant with it in. see im not ready to have another yet but i know i want another in the next 3 or 4 years. so far it's the best bc i have used yet, so so far i would recommend it.

jacquecmsu - 990 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My sister got pregnant w/ an IUD in... not mirena though. I am planning on putting an IUD in, I am pretty sure once you take it out you'll be able to conceive.
