6 wks sharp pain on left side Added: 985 days ago. Added by: mrsrheins Section: General. Status: This question is Closed. (Questions will be closed after 10 days.)
Has anyone around this point in their pregnancy feel a slight sharp pain on their left side that comes and goes? I don`t know if it could be from the bloating or from stretching. It is getting annoying.

I'm 18 1/2 weeks and I still feel it from time to time. My OB says it's from stretching ligaments. Not to worry unless so severe you can't handle the pain.

Oh okay. Well I am not going to worry about it. I think it was just stretching b/c I don't feel anything today. Thank you ladies for your comments and help. I appreciate it. God bless!!

I had a lot of pain around 6 weeks...especially on my left side. My first u/s at 7weeks showed that I had a small cyst on my left ovary (actually caused by the pregnancy) and my dr told me that it is completely normal and usually goes away as the pregnancy progresses. he also told me that it would cause sharp shooting pains.

i had all kinds of quick sharp pains pretty much all throughout my pregnancy, but they always came and went and i didn't worry much because I assumed it was just my uterus stretching. i had a normal pregnancy so I think it was just stretching. When they cut me open for my last minute c section, the doctors told me i had beautiful insides LOL.
