I am 8 months pregnant and I am starting to have extreme fatique. It feels like someone has sucked the life right out of me. Even if I sleep 8 hrs a night it feels like I didn`t sleep at all. Should I be concerned or is this normal?

kottonkurlz - 981 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Normal. I would like to sleep 16 hours a day. I know it is hard to accept but you are carrying around another human being, extra weight and extra hormones. YOU SHOULD BE TIRED.

kbrooke1231 - 981 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I think its normal. I was the same way. I felt like I needed a nap after just walking through the house. You're almost done good luck!

iluvmybabie - 981 days ago They told me I am anemic but I take iron pills for that.

nicnmicsmom - 981 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Your iron is probably low. Later pregnancy anemia is pretty common. I don't think any of us who are 8+ months are sleeping very well but that extreme fatigue is usually caused by low iron....ask your doc. they should have done a blood test around 32 weeks

juels101 - 981 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You certainly do need more sleep especially during the end, but also when your iron levels are low it can cause even more fatigue, I'd try taking some extra iron, or being tested for low iron

mathew102508 - 981 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Yup i was the same. I would sleep 13 hours a night. It was nuts. I never had a problem sleeping haha But i also worked full time at tim hortons and was on the go all the time. i thought that was why i was so tired lol

happyforest - 981 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i felt exaCTLY THE SAME

HelluvaAngel - 981 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) This can be normal to a point. Get checked by your Dr. This started happing to me when I was in my 8th month with my son and it turned out my blood pressure was really high. I ended up with Pre-eclampsia. They ended up inducing a few weeks later cause it got too high and dangerous.

mandabelle22 - 981 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) As always ask your doctor if you're concerned. I do know that at different points in my pregnancy I just sleep constantly.
