Also starting the day by eating a high-protein breakfast is good. Something like a yogurt/granola parfait with wheat germ, with fruits like strawberries, blueberries and raspberries.. or egg white omelet. Really, eating in moderation and healthy will dramatically help. Also, take your LO on walks everyday (morning or early evening, weather depending), try yoga or pilates, and what really helped for me was reverse crunches.

With exercise it would have come off faster but I hate exercise. Also I found that bread was a bad food for me or any carbs really. They make me gain weight like crazy just to look at them. Also watch what you drink. Many people drink a days worth of calories and don't even realize it. It is also good to make sure you have protein with every meal it helps you stay fuller longer, to eat every meal and try to be consistant with the times you eat it really helps. I also kept a food journal everyday so I could see what I was eating or plan my meals out in advance which helps because then your not trying to come up with something to eat and eating what you shouldn't. A typical day for me would be: Breakfast 1 hard boiled egg 1 piece of butter toast 1 cup milk if you wanted to could even have 2 eggs Lunch 1 pita with soya cheese, lettuce, cucumbers, tomato, mayo, salt and pepper. 1 diet ice tea 5 radishes on the side Snack 100-200 cal snack A good snack are those individual smart pop popcorns I'll pop one of those close to lunch and leave it on the table and munch on it all day. Dinner 1 brocolli + cheese stuffed chicken breast 1 - 1 1/2 cups steamed vegetables sometimes I'll even have a side salad, but stick to the serving sizes for the dressings. Everybody is different you just need to figute out what works for you. Good luck!

nicnmicsmom - 981 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) With food, it's tricky. Try first NOT eating just one thing that you know is bad for you. For example, if you regularly drink soda/pop, cut that out....and JUST that. Then after a few weeks, cut something else out...like peanut butter or chips. But just one "bad" food at a time. That way, you're gradually changing your eating habits without feeling deprived. As far as exercise goes, walking will do it. Or bicycling..just make sure you do it for at least 45 min or so at a time. start with 3 days a week and build that up to 5 or 6. Add a few free or hand weights...you know, simple things that you can do in front of the TV.

You do it in your house and all you need is some light weights, a yoga mat and a yoga band (the company tries to get you to buy lots of equipment but you do not need it). You alternate days of cardio and muscles/abs. I do the lean routine, so less weights more reps. It also gives you a great meal plan to follow. I am 7 months PP, am a size 5 and have loads of energy. Thing is you need to dedicate 1 - 1.5 hours a day to it. I do the workout when my son has his morning nap.

myonnie - 981 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) this isn't the only option but the best thing that worked for me was pure cardio. i would walk on each of my breaks at work and on my lunch break. promise i lost 20 lbs the first month. I don't mean cutesey walking, i mean some serious power walking.

mamalvs4 - 981 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) eat a balanced diet but try to fill up on protein, this gives you extra energy, and keeps you feeling fuller longer....there is also a great tape for mommies thta you can do at home, i did an excersize tape at home with my first and i plan on doing it again

happyforest - 981 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) try hula hooping! you need to get a dance hoop or exercise hoop, NOT the walmart kids hoops. they wont be heavy enough and are too hard to keep up. it is an INTENSE ab workout, trust me!! i am in size 5 pants at 7 months pp
