I took a prego test one night and it was negative. The next morning I looked at the same stick and there was a faint but still very visible line coming down. It was positive. Then I took another prego test the next day and it was clearly negative. So was the next one, and the next one, and so one for 5 more test. Is it just still to early to tell? I haven`t had my period yet, its not due for another 2 weeks....!!

CMT - 975 days ago Also Im Not sure if it showed up in the 1o min window anyway. Because I looked at it for 2 mins and that was it. There is a possiblity that it turned positive and i didnt know until the next day To where the positive sign carried on to the next morning. I have two boys already and when I took tests back then, when the test was negative it would stay negative. This is the second time this has happened to me.

nicnmicsmom - 976 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You're not supposed to look at the test after a certain period of time for that very reason. I would consider yourself NOT pregnant. And if your period isn't due for another two weeks, the test wouldn't be positive at this point anyway. Best idea. Wait until your period is almost due and then test first thing in the morning. Once your read the test, don't look at it again.

HelluvaAngel - 977 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It ws an evapouration line. You shouldn't test until you miss your period. If your period isn't due for another 2 weeks than that means you should just be ovulating sometime now.

diane-taketwo - 977 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Bangel is right, it was odd for you to get a + so early, as you usually will only get a faint + 10 days after you ovulated (about 4 days before your period). Overnight, the trace amount of pregnancy hormone in your urine likely caused the colour to appear. The 10 minute time limit is set so that you don't read the test after its had enough time to develop into a 'false positive' - wait until your period is due and test then - save your money :) Good luck!

Bangel - 977 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) they say the results are only good for about ten minutes after the test is taken (it'll say in the test instructions), after that it can do weird stuff like get a positive line when you're not pregnant. And since you're period isn't even due for 2 more weeks, I can't see it being able to tell you if you were pregnant or not yet.
