my dd is 2 weeks and is mainly breastfed, had no bowel movement for 1 day, is it normal?

Normal. Maybe you'll be lucky and have a baby that poops once a week or so! My 8 month old is just now getting to that point (he is still EBF) but my 2nd daughter only pooped once a week from very early on.

i've heard ladies on here say its normal for a breastfed baby to go 7-10 days without having a bowel movement...

completely normal....i guess that its normal for them to even not have one for 2 days ...my son usually has one once every day sometimes 2 days...but it's normal according to my doctor..

i stickly breastfed my son for 1 1/2 years and i remember when he did not have a bowel movement for a day ,i would just keep an eye out becasue you breastfed it diffent then getting a bottle
