my legs keep going numb !!

i am 23 weeeks tomorrow, so i dont thinkits the baby pressing on a nerve or anything but the front of my legs from the knee to the hip keep going numb - i try to move as much as i can but work in an office so cant be moving about all the time - i drink loads of water and eat quite healthy ! does anyone know what this is its driving me MAD !!! thanks fiona x

I'm at 37 weeks today and for the past month, I've had tingling and numbness(like they're asleep) in my left arm and occasionally my left leg. Last night, I had it in BOTH arms. I'm a Physical therapist and I can't figure it out! Maybe the position of the baby or with me, I have a lot of swelling. I'm going to try to get into a pool and do some light stretching to see if that helps. Let me know what responses you get!

krystiannoah - 966 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i had the same problem at around 21-22 weeks but my doc told me it could be the baby pressing on a nerve...so it could be for you too. it didnt last long for me...like 20 minutes-half an hour at a time sometimes...and probably once every 2 days...its weird...
