I`m feeling constant movement and pressure down there and they hurt and they are coming going ....they have been doing of for the past couple mins. Are these contractions!?? I`m 38 weeks and 5 days pregnant...I just want to know if theses pains are contrations and I can feel the baby moveing alot like she is really active rite now while these pains are going on....what is this and what should I do??

juels101 - 964 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Typically during contractions the baby doesent move. When your that far along the baby moving while enguaged in the pelvis and moving sucks and hurts a LOT sometimes. The contractions will make your entire tummy go very hard though the pain will stay lower down. Also time them and see if they have a pattern, labor contractions have a sort of pattern. That's about all I know ^_-

its.brittanys.baby - 965 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) With real contractions you have to think these four words "Longer, Stronger, Closer Together" It could be, do they hurt in your back and front or just one area? Start timing them and if you have more than 4 in an hour then go to the Labor and Delivery Unit. Good Luck!

mommy-at-home - 965 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Well, they could be contractions, or they could just be the baby moving in a position that causes pain. As for what you should do...I think you should just relax and wait. The contractions what will send you to the hospital will come in regular intervals and increase in intensity.
