About the sock thing...that's hilarious because I wore my super fuzzy, comfy pink slipper socks. they were so cozy and everyone commented on how comfy they looked. Well, first time I got up out of bed...about an hour after I delivered, blood went EVERYWHERE...all over the socks! Luckily they are dark pink so if there's a stain you can't tell! But, I'd still bring something comfy for your feet, just take them off when you get up! Also, a pair of your own comfy bottoms is a must! My favorite thing I had this time around was a bottle of Bath and Body Sweet Pea body gel that my mom brought for me. It felt so so good to have a good smelling soap to use when I hopped in the shower!

i overpacked soooo much because i didnt know what i would need.....they give you everything for baby...all you really need is toothbrush & toothpaste, brush, travel size shampoo & conditioner...a going home outfit for the 2 of you(baby & you) and if you're having your baby pictures taken at the hospital(i did) then bring the outfit that you want him/her wearing in the photo....along with what robinG said...pj's with bottoms are a bad idea...i found out the hard way...also, dont wear socks if they are going to break your water lol...i had brand new socks on, not knowing how messy it was going to be and they got ruined and i had to throw them out...slippers are good too...and maybe an mp3 player or something to do while your waiting during labor...thats about all i needed....

Check with your hospital ~ I needed NOTHING for baby til my drive home. EVERYTHING for baby was provided my entire stay :) daddy brought diaper bag on day I was released so I had it for the short drive home. :) As far as me I had a nightgown (pjs with bottoms are not a good idea) slippers robe toiletries etc. My going home clothes hubby brought up the day I was released ~
