Is it good to have one for the baby or is it just a waste of money?

wwatters18 - 963 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) they say to have a cool mist humidifier instead of the heated ones. i use mine for my daughter when she sounds congested. not sure if it helps but cant hurt i suppose.

mamalvs4 - 964 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i had one for my son, it was a cool mist that way if he gets a cold it doesnt settle into his chest

mom.to.all.boys - 964 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Get one!

mylittleman - 964 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Definitely get one! my son always had a cold. He would only be cold free for about a week and then he would get another one. I finally bought a vaporizer after he went all day and only was able to drink one bottle because his nose was so stuffy. He could barely breath...I almost took him to the hospital. Anyway, bought the vaporizer and we sat in front of it for a long time and it cleared his nose up enough to drink. Now I run it every night and it has helped him tremendously!

Bangel - 964 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Used a humidifier all winter in the nursery and my lo never got a cold (he's 8 months now)....so maybe it really does help!

Rhonda Lynn - 964 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My daughter got sick last month. When I took her to the doctor she said it was common for babies to get what she had because of the dry air. Yes, it is humid outside. But the inside air is cool and dry due to A/C. Their little nasal passages dry out, get irritated, then become infected. So she ( the doctor) advised I use a humidifier in her room at night... So I would say it is worth the small investment for one. Better than a sick baby!!!
