I am 34/35 weeks..my baby is head up...doc said that it has 2 weeks to turn and if it doesn`t we`re booking a c/sec...I really would like to have natural, what are the odds that it won`t turn?? and what works to help it turn?

I was 38 weeks pregnant and baby was still breech. He turned at 39 weeks 1 day. My dr said that some babies even turn while you are in labour. I would not opt for the c-section, give baby time to turn.

In Canada they're actually delivering more breech babies, most types of breech are safe (I can't remember the kind that isn't) And he/she will probably turn, I think it's only like 2% that actually stay breech until the end :)

My second son was breech right up until labor my water actually broke with him....but I put music down close to my pelvis and he moved the Doctor told me they would have to do a c-section if he didn't move but he did, try it, music it worked for me.

go to www.spinningbabies.com theres lots of techniques on there, none of them worked for me but i was offered an ECV if i wanted one, do your research on those before deciding if you want one or not they carry risks as well, like everything else pros and cons. i really wanted all natural but i was one of the unfortunate people whos baby was literally to big to fit in my pelvis and she did end up being born c-section

Babies can turn up until it is time to push. My doc told me one of his patients was in labor...she went walking the hospital halls to move it along...came back to the room an hour later and was checked and the baby turned. Wait it out. Most likely the baby will turn.

Chances are your baby will turn, but to help it try things like getting down on your hands and knees and rocking, and when you sit down, try sitting with your legs apart and lean forward slightly. These things all help to open up the pelvis and use gravity to help turn bub around and get him/her to drop down a little. It's all about using gravity to help your baby into the right position. Your doctor should be able to suggest other positions etc to try. Best of luck!
