Can someone give me some good articals on DHA/ARA, I always thought it was good for babies until a friend of mine told me to research it. I did and found all these articals about babies becoming underweight because the DHA/ARA in formula made them have diareha. I`m just looking for more info on this.

Bangel - 959 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) doesn't make much sense since all the formula has dha in it now and so many babies are above weight and never heard of anyone complaining of constant diarrhea.

LizetteCheree - 959 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I agree with robin.I took preg omega(prenatal)while pregnant and now give dd formula which contains dha and ara,she doesnt have diareha and she weighs 16 pounds at 5 months old.

Personally I dont believe most studies since who knows who the subjects were the other circumstances etc etc of the study. omega is very good for you and I am less apt to believe it. You can find studies all over on things that show proof of something but only because of how it was set up, the people they used etc etc. I think if it was true since it is in so much we on this site who've been here for a while would see a trend of moms with diarhea. Diarhea can be caused by so many other things too.
