that happend with my son during my pregnancy. He was diagnosed with Intrauterine growth restriction. In no way am I telling you that this is what is going on with your son BUT if the beginning when we found out about the IUGR his head was measuring 2 weeks ahead of his body, its his bodies way of ensuring all the nurtients go to the most important organ-the brain. If that is the case youll be monitored reguarly!

Yes, my son had a big head at 20w, he grew into it. it's normal and your bub will grow into it. Don't stress on it, because there's NOTHING you can do, it's all up to baby and how he/she grows.

At my 32 weeks u/s my dr told me that my baby had a big head. He didn't sound concerned he just laughed about it (kinda) and said probably not a good thing for you in labor...his head was measuring in the 90th percentile. I was soooo scared of labor I didn't know how it would be, but I had another u/s at 36 wks and another dr told me his head was measuring normal...well anyways my son was born with an average sized head (14in.) and there were no worries :) Im sure he will grow into it..if not, your doctors will monitor you closely!

unless your doctor acted like it was a big deal you shouldn't worry. the baby's head is always bigger than it's body during pregnancy, even for a while after birth. the body catches up...it should be fine :)

18.86 cm 40.6% was head circumfernce (HC) 21 week 1 day . I havnt givin birth yet have 3 weeks to go now. but at 21 weeks that was HC Hope that helps you. They seemed to think was normal. If you look on ultrsound pics I just put one from that time up asking boy or girl and it has the mesurments on it.

nothing was said to me during my u/s, but my baby was born with his head measuring in 95 percentile, and weight only 5-10 percentile. He grew into his big head within 3 months of being born.

at 20 weeks their head is probably still a lil bigger than the body. it gets more proportional towards the end.
