Playtex bottles with liners

ok so i had my baby girl on june 27th and im using the playtex bottles with the liners and she drinks about 2 ounces and about every half ounce to one ounce i try and burp her which sence ive started her on these bottles she hardly ever burps but once she finished eatting she gets the hick ups right afterwards and they last about a min or two and go away but she hasnt ever spit up with theses bottles either just hick ups....and i know your supposed to push the air out of them before you give it to them and i do that but she is still getting them and i cant fingure out why and it makes me feel bad that shes getting them so does anyone have any addvice for me on what i could do or what im doing wrong and if anyone else has had this problem....thanks

tylersmommy54 - 957 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i use them off and on and i do notice he burps less with those and playtex ventaire bottles i just figured less air was being swallowed lol he gets the hiccups all thetime and he cries when he does. i mean like sometimes several times a day!!!!! but he had the hiccups all the time before he was born too lol :)

mathew102508 - 958 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I use these bottles as well. When my son was younger he used to get the hiccups all the time, but he grew out of it around 3 or 4 months. I always had a hard time burping him when he was younger as well. I never thought the hiccups were because of the bottle tho, But i guess not that i look back it kind makes sense. The hiccups never bother my son any, so if they dont bother your daughter i would not worry about it.

My first daughter naturally had the hicuups more than my second, even while I was pregnant with her. I think it's just the individual childs body.

amber325 - 958 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) They usually do not burp with these bottle b/c they do not let as much air in as other bottles ( since you push the air out)....At least that is my thinking. Olivia ALWAYS has the hiccups..even when I was prego she had them

ohiomomof4boys - 958 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Hi I saw your blog and wanted to tell you that my oldest son (who is 10 now) did the same thing with those bottles. He would get the hiccups everytime and he was the hardest baby to burp. After a little while he did not get the hiccups anymore and he still did not burp. I hope all is well with you and your baby.
