Took a pregnancy test..is it right?

Before I took the test I thought that I really was pregnant, I still haven`t had my period and I`m having all the signs. The test I took turned up positive right away, should I get another one to be sure? Or should I just let it go and save myself money? It just hasn`t hit me yet, and I feel I want more proof.

momofanangel - 126 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Actually pregnancy tests can give you a false positive but they are very very rare, but I am sure you are pregnant. If you want to put your mind at ease buy another one, it won't hurt anything and it will make you feel better. congrats!

Now to all those that do not believe in a that a pregnancy test can be positive and be wrong...you are wrong! After my first son every test I took showed up positive and they were all wrong and no I didn't look after the 10 minute rule! For some reason my body continued to carry the hcg hormone and all test turned up positive. So a false positive IS very possible. However, sounds like you already knew that you were preggers! Once again congrats!

nutnut - 127 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) LOL gratz!! and i took like 12 tests bc i didnt believe the BFP! save the money, make a dr. appointment! false postives are super rare, and most of the time they arent really false positives, the are either evap lines, or error on the part of the person taking the test(such as reading results after time limit), or missed misscarriage, etc. youre 99.9 % pregnant LOL good luck and gratz mama! =D

juels101 - 128 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) You do'nt NEED to take another one, since a home pregnancy test can NOT give you a false posative. You can get a false negative if the pregnancy hormone is'nt strong enough (very early on in pregnancy). If it will make you feel better go buy two more LOL. But it will still be posative, congrats!!!

jaydsmom - 128 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Haha I took 3 tests the first time, but when I had my 2nd baby, I just saved my money and believed it. The only way the test can show positive and it's not is if you leave it for too long (10 min or more) and you get evaporation lines. If it show + right away, well CONGRATS! Save your money mommy.
