I think Im getting my first period after my c0section on May 2. Well actually Im almost certain thats what it is. Ok enough rambling and to the point of this post. My doctor`s office is colsed and I was wondering if you ladies could answer a question for me(I know your doctor`s). Do you think it would be ok to use tampons instead of pads?. If it helps I have been able to have sex for almost two weeks now and have =).

momofanangel - 253 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My doctor said having sex and using tampons are two different things, like I can't use tampons because of a condition I have but I can still have sex just fine. I would wait to ask your doctor but after I gave birth I was told to use pads for the first while.

RobinG - 255 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I wasnt able to use tampons for a few months, I bled so heavily that they soaked through in an hour so were pointless. So I used pads.

Bangel - 255 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I used them with my first period at 8 weeks pp. Wouldn't see the problem...especially since sex is going fine!

SazaUK(TTC2) - 255 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) When I had my first PP period I used tampons instead of pads, but I didn't get mine until I was 8 weeks PP. Not sure if that made a difference.
