RobinG - 948 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I would def get it checked, to be sure it isnt spina bifida ~ (())

pooka - 948 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) its called a sacral dimple: "In most cases sacral dimples are harmless and need no treatment. However a sacral dimple may be a sign of malformation in areas on areas such as the spine and spinal chord. If the dimple is very close to the buttock crease then it shouldn’t cause much worry, if nonetheless it is much further up and far from the buttock crease then it may be an indication that of defects in deeper tissues. Organs that it may affect include brain, kidneys and spinal column. Sacral dimples become a problem if there is some tenderness around the dimple; if fluid is drained from the dimple itself and it starts to swell. If any of these signs are visible then the patient may have to undergo ultrasound / sonograpy to determine the seriousness of the condition. Ultrasound uses high frequency sound waves to produce exact images of the body. Is a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (IMR), it uses a magnetic field and radio waves to create a cross sectional images of the body."

It's not another hole exactly, more of a divit or indent near her tail bone. You could bring it up to your DR at her next visit, but honestly there isn't anything you can do about it.

carmensmomma - 948 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) If ur worried about it ask ur doc... this is kinda embarassing but it might bring u piece of mind..lol.. Once while rubbing my ex's back his crack was hanging out and at the top of it was a lil pen dot hole, i was like omg what is that! Well i told him about it and asked if i had one, well i do too! I came to the conclustion its a sweat gland or something, i have no idea but i concluded it must b normal.. hope this helps.. If ur concerned i'd ask her ped about it.

Cindie - 949 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I wouldn't worry about taking her to the ER. It's something that's been there for 3 months. Instead on monday make her an appointment to see her pediatrician. my son has a tiny dent there... my brothers and myself also had that as babies.it could just be a congenital thing that isn't dangerous or worrysome.

jessberr31 - 949 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I actually know (sorta) some one with two anuses. Shes my friends cousin, she doesn't know that I know, but I guess it is possible. The only other thing I could think of is what everyone else said, spina bifida, and I'd go to the er too.

happyforest - 949 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) take her to the ER, she needs to be examined asap

nutnut - 949 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) you need to bring that up to the dr. that isnt normal. dont touch it or anything i would try to keep it protected, im wondering if its her spine. go to the dr. asap! was it always there?

novinsmommy09 - 949 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i would take her to the dr it could be spina bifida. my son doesnt have a hole but he has hair there and they want to test for it
