ok i really want to know this coz i am going through a massive stressful time at the moment, but what i really want to know is if you become stressed or have constant anxiety/panic attacks, are you at a major risk of miscarriage or stillbirth? i am 15 weeks pregnant yet ive heard stories, but i cant seem to help it, i dnt want to have anxiety i dnt want to be stressed but at the moment that is what is going on in my life. would appreciate answers, it doesnt have to be about u, but if you knew anyone who had this problem and had healthy pregnancies or the other ending, please let me know

There have been NO conclusive studies done, and it is a vicious myth that makes women who miscarry feel guilty because if it was stress, than their baby dying was their fault. The actual known causes of m/c are chromosomal abnormalities, insuficient hormone production, infection, and anatomical abnormalities such as an irregularly shaped uterus.

I haven't had any issues with this pregnancy. However if your on meds for anxiety, talk to your doctor about the risks and benefits because if the benefits outweight the risks then you should continue it.

happyforest - 949 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i have always had anxiety and panic attacks. but somehow, while i was preg, my body fixed itself and i didnt have them anymore. i only had one, and it was caused by my bf being selfish, drinking, and lying. it was such a severe anxiety attack that i was actually worried for the babies life. this was while i was 3 months preg. i told him that night, right before i left, that i was not taking it anymore and would not have him hurt this baby. i went home to my moms and didnt come back until a few days later once he had plenty of time to realize he was an ass and was endangering me and the baby. never had a problem after that. whatever it is in your life causing you this stress, eliminate it. dont say you cant. you CAN. NOTHING is more important than your baby. if you have to pick between whats stressing you and your baby, i think you know what to choose. good luck.

mama2be12.31.09 - 949 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) yes you can i was the same way and having terrible panic attacks and bad anxiety doc told me if i keep it up i will miscarry the baby, they even told me the risk of being on anti anxiety medicine effecting the baby is less of a risk than the anxiety itself they gave me other relaxation/breathing techniques but go to the doc and try something like that first but they will give you an rx for it if it doesnt help. good luck you'll get through it all ive been through a ringer this year that i never thought id see the light of day again, so take care of you and your baby
