my 6 month old has had a stuffy nose for a few days now and the bulb syringe(sp.) isnt working at all. he doesnt have a cough or anything, just the stuffy nose, so im thinking its allergies, what can i do to help him??

babyno3fg - 947 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my little girl has the same problem but i also think its allergies so last thing at night i put some vapour rub or you could use olbas oil in some boiled water out of reach of other kids obviously and in a few days it should clear his nose

happyforest - 947 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my baby had this for months and nothing helped. we tried syringe, saline spray, vapor bath, humidifier....we ended up getting a prescription for Nasonex from the pedi, and it cleared up right away! and we only have to use it when we need it, its not an everyday thing so maybe ask about that.

nutnut - 947 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) humidifier maybe? find out from the doctor if he is old enough for any kind of allergy medication or that stuff called little noses or what have you. its been so long i cant remember the safe age for things and i wouldnt want to tell you something that would harm the little one. my daughter had a stuffy nose when she was teething too. so if i remember correctly the dr. didnt give her any medication for it. (but shes 7yrs old now and does have winter allergies)
