pregnancy after a tubal?

So I had twins 4 months ago. At that point I had a tubal ligation done. Since then my periods haven`t been normal at all. I haven`t gotten one at all this month yet and I usually start at the beginning of the month. I don`t know exactly what day I should have started because I haven`t been keeping up with them...thinking I was safe! What are the chances of getting pregnant after a tubal? How often does this happen?

Its-Chelle - 944 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) oh, i tested too once and it came out negative, but a friend (whom did have an ectopic once) told me that the tests dont always show a positive if it were an ectopic.

Julianna - 944 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It is possible, but success rate of tubal is 99.95% co that means chance of pregnancy is .05%. I'd say at the very least, you should test so you know....If you are, get to a doctor immediately, because the chance of ectopic is higher. Good luck.

Its-Chelle - 944 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my periods went back to normal schedule after my tubal, yes there is a little more bleeding and heavier cramps, but there has been a few times where i was late!! it freaked me out. they have been a wk late but everything was ok. i just chalk it up to irregularity at times. but if you were to experience any pain at all, get checked out. i had my tubes tied 2 1/2 yrs ago..

LoveChild - 944 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My doctor told me that the chances were very very low though....that if you did get pregnant that it would not survive as the "baby" would only make it to the tubes. He said go to the doctor immediately if you miss a period so they can remove it or you could have serious harm. Periods are suppose to be different after a tubal....heavier bleeding and more cramps....this is true for me so far!
