Has any ladies with or had gestational diabetes follwed their diet plan?

Julianna - 932 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I had GD and followed the diet exactly. I also ended up on insulin & near the end my numbers just keep getting higher. It was REALLY hard for me because I was pregnant int he summer and I LOVE LOVE LOVE fruit, but it was best for my baby and myself.

blondie9504 - 933 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I have GD and I don't really follow a diet plan, of course, my sugar stays around 100 or lower. The only time my sugar has been too high was with both of the glucola tests. I still try to limit my sweets to once a day if I can help it though. But I don't have to take any medicine Thank God!

LGK616 - 934 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) 9 times out of 10 I followed it. But I caved now and then to a craving - like ice cream, or extra fruit. I was pregnant last summer and sorry but, ice cream and watermelon were a must! I ate the 0% sugar ice cream and my numbers were actually ok however. But when I caved, it was maybe twice a week and no more!! xox
