green poop

my 8 week old is bottle fed and has always had yellow poop, for the last few days she has been very windy and making some awful smells and her poop is green. any idea why this is, i havent changed formula or anything.

erin b - 930 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Around this ago thier bowels are starting to mature. My LO went from runny poo miltiple times a day to "creamy peanut butter" poo about every four days around 2 months old.

I have to take my 3 month sold to the hospital today to see why her poop is GRAY!They have to run some test and things on her, they say that gray poop is a sign of liver problems. So when I go I'll ask the nurse about green poop and see what answer I can get for you !!

Jenny309 - 930 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Im not sure why it happens, but mine did the same as well... Shes 4 months now and switches from green to yellow. I think I remember googling it and its the iron in the formula that makes the poop green, but I am not sure
