bleeding?

i had a c-section on the 21st. i had mild bleeding at the hospital but since i`ve been home its gotten much lighter to almost none at all. yesterday i walked around alot (had to go to walmart lol) but now i`m bleeding extreamly heavy. at the hospital they told me to call my dr if i had heavy bleeding. but its a weekend and i don`t want to go to the ER if its not something serious. what should i do?

jastinel - 928 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i would have to say you over did it if you just had a c section on july 21th,you have to give your self time to heal,keep your feet up and try to relax and just use pads nothing else and if you need to call the 24 hour nurse and just let me know what is going on and they will let you know if you need to go to the ER good luck

mariettap - 928 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Our childbirth educator said to call the doc on call if you are soaking more than one pad per hour or passing clots the size of your fist. (Can you imagine?) This is a time for taking it easy. Time to stay off the stairs (only 1x/day), send others out on errands, and get them in the habit of fetching you a glass of water and a snack throughout the day. I hope you feel better soon.

Austin::and::Alexs::Momma - 928 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) more then likely you over did it - which will cause heavy bleeding. i'd sit down and relax, prop your feet up and take it easy! =)
