Can someone explain to me how the `porn hacker` continually manages to infiltrate this site, adding code to redirect us to porn sites? (the latest is a beastiality site that almost made me puke!) What security measures can be taken to stop this from happening time after time?

MelissaJoanne - 926 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It's apparently really easy to do, if you know html very well (I don't, but I know the basic concept of how it's being done).
Someone, or maybe a few people, are just creating a blank account, and using the account to add a 'comment' to various questions, polls, pages, and the comment contains code to redirect anyone that looks at it to a different page of their choosing (porn, apparently).
It's annoying, but I'm not sure how it could be avoided. Admin can remove the 'comments', and delete the profiles once it happens and they know about it, but unless there were more stringent requirements to sign up for a profile, you can't really weed out the people that do it until it happens.
It doesn't really require any hacking, and they aren't implanting viruses or anything. Just redirecting to other sites. Maybe all html could be blocked somehow? That probably wouldn't work.
