Which is the correct due date?

At my 8-week ultrasound, my baby`s EDD was 25/02/2010. Then at my 10-week ultrasound, it changed to 20/02/2010 after the doctor measured baby`s length. Which date is the reliable one? Thanks in advance,

riknlee - 925 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) This happened to me although I was positive about my period dates. I was given heaps of dates, each one earlier than the last but he ended up coming on the original due date that I was given before all the ultrasounds

hannahe - 925 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) :) i just posted a very similar question...i really have no idea, but i thought it was funny to see that you had the same question as me. what i decided is that i will go with the one that is the farthest away that way when the first due date comes and goes i wont feel like the baby is late, i still have a week left :) and if baby comes at the sooner due date, then hey look baby was early!

nicnmicsmom - 925 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It's all relative, actually. If you're sure when you conceived or might have and know when your last menstral cycle was, go by that. Your EDD will likely change over the next several months because your baby grows and that's what they're measuring. your baby could just be slightly on the big side. Go by your dates...and for the record, rarely is a baby born on it's EDD....I have three and none of them were..
