why is this site so anti breastfeeding?

our1st.girl - 923 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) it doesn't bother me either way..what ever any one chooses is their choice who am I to say if it is wrong or right every one is different. I personaly breast feed and will with baby #5 I have found that my inlaws who never breast fed are very opinionated about me nursing my baby's for so long...it is almost very stressful but I have chosen to ignore them as long as my husband is supportive...I guess what I am trying to say is how could I say anything about formula when I don't know and how could a mom who formula feeds say anything about breast feeding when they don't know?? It's best to just do what is best for you and your baby...mouth shut minding my own business :) unless I am asked.

jaydsmom - 924 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I think it's not really anti-breastfeeding, but some of the women on here who formula fed are very vocal that they formula fed, almost as if they are trying to start a little arguement. Like they are saying "I dare you to tell me I'm wrong for not bf".

I breastfed my two girls, and plan on breastfeeding my next (and last lol) due in January... Maybe we're just reading different questions etc. I mean, there certainly are people that don't want to, but I havent noticed any people on the extremes of either side.

happyforest - 924 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) do you mean the women here? or the actual site (not allowed to post bf pics for example)? i dont think the women are anti bf. the site is soooo freakin obsessed with making sure no one gets 'offended' so they say no bf pics...but do they stop to think this might offend bf moms? to have to feel like a pic of a baby EATING is somehow vulgar or innappropriate and should be kept private and hidden?? i dont even bf, but i find that offensive.
