I am looking for parents who I can connect with... My son has autism, just got finally diagnosed in June but I saw the signs last July right after him MMR shot. Parents who have a child with autism and going the diet and biomedical route.. PLEASE MESSAGE me.. If you are not going that route.. still message me. I don`t feel comfortable talking to parents who don`t know what I am going through.. no offense. We need to connect more parents who understand each other through our childrens..

(last year she was in normal k for half the day, then learning support the rest of the day) they lost her in normal k classroom time. i have to wonder how many "normal" classroom teachers are actually adiquittly trained or experienced with children with these issues. while i understand why they want to mainstream, im having a hard time trusting they wont loose my daughter or something bad could happen bc she likes to wander or gets confused on where she is supposed to go. im here to talk anytime =D

RobinG - 920 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) This site below is incredible!! I've searched many sites and found this one was most active with a HUGE support group of people. You name it its there and it has people with all parts of the spectum and comorbids ~ it is like this site in that it has many members and is very active :) Most members are in the UK although many are from states so I did at times find it quiet when I was on but when I woke my posts were full of replies :) I STRONGLY suggest you check it out ~ big big hugs, I am right there with you ~ hunter had a melt down at the swim picnic today and it is so hard when those around you dont understand or think your child is just having a temper tantrum ~ (((()))) it is SO much more then that ~ it has been a while since I was there but need to get back there now that Hunter is having more issues ~ my name there is Huntersmomma http://www.asdfriendly.org/board/

They have 2 other younger daughters and my ex-SIL is manic depressive. I know how you feel. I have been taking care of Emily for years. She just turned 10. Through animals (horseback riding) and swimming, we have seen drastic improvements in her. Message me if you want to talk. Just as an aside, Emily never was vaccinated. It is against my ex-SIL`s religous beliefs.

tquinn - 920 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) My daughter is 6 yrs. old and I am pregnant and fear the vaccines. My daughter got her Autism through lead paint poisoning, we truely believe that any metal can be terrible. She still doesn't talk and is not potty trained. Other parents don't get it. Sometimes I feel alone. I am glad to hear of someone else trying to make connections.

ilovemylittleprince - 920 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) my son doesn't have it (that i know of) but my brother who is 14 has it, he was diagnosed at 4. i am against the MMR vaccine and my son will not get it no matter what the dr says.
