9 weeks pregnant and Spotting Added: 919 days ago. Added by: jesseecee Section: General. Status: This question is Closed. (Questions will be closed after 10 days.)
I have been spotting light pink for a day and a half now. I was on my feet and walking for the whole day yesterday. Could it be that I just over did it or do I have something more serious to worry about. This is my second pregnancy as my first one ended at 7.5 weeks at the beginning of this year and I am terrified of losing this one

You know you need to go to the Dr ASAP - as no one here can tell you why you are spotting. You won't have any piece of mind until you go see the Dr. It happened to me during this pregnancy after two previous miscarriages, so I know how devistation it is. But to give you some hope, my spotting stopped and I'm now 15 weeks and so far all is AOK.

I would go to see a doctor immediately. From what I understand, it's the brown-ish blood that's ususally associated with something not too serious. However, pink/red blood can be an indication of something more serious and is nothing to mess around with. Best of luck to you.

25% of women who spot in pregnancy have healthy pregnancies/babies. Allot of women spot when their period would have been due, maybe even implantation spotting (I spotted at 9-weeks and that's what the hospital told me). If it's accompanied by cramp, they say isn't good --but I had terrible cramp at 9-weeks, along with that little bleed. Go to your doctor, or hospital (just in case). But don't worry --like I said, it's fairly common.
