6 month old having horrible diarrhea

Lucas has had horrible diarrhea since yesterday morning. He had to have about 20-25 dirty diapers yesterday and about 3 today. Okay now to my question. He was eatting like normal yesterday but today has hardly had a thing and is super fussy/screaming his head off. Is it possible if he`s still dehydrated even though his mouth is salivating like normal and he acts normal at times? He does have an appointment at 2:50 today but my MIL thinks I`m overreacting?

trkrchk - 918 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I dont' think so.. My daughter had this problem and she had a stomach bug that kinda blew up on us.. for 4 months. She had to take Flagyl before it finally killed it. Her poor bottom got a rash from the runs so bad she bled. We practically took up stock in the corn startch business!! I say go check it out.

RobinG - 918 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I would give him some pedialite to restore his electrolites. It can be taken in place of any milk for 24 hours as he works through the tummy bug ~ ((hugs))

cleebel - 918 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It is very possible that he has a stomach bug. As long as he doesnt have a temp, I wouldn't be to worried, pump whatever fluids you can and good luck. I it is a bug it should be gone in 24 hours or so.
