Should by 8weeks pregnant

Hi, this is my 2nd pregnancy but I had a scan the other day that showed I was only 5weeks 3days when I should have been around the 8week mark is this normal also the scan showed an `implant bleed` should I be worried?

yanka - 916 days ago Thanks went to the doctor and coz im not 100% sure on concieving he said not to worry just yet and I'm booked in for rescan in 3weeks, my levels are still rising. No heartbeat yet. Thank you everyone, fingers crossed.

nikki80 - 917 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) it may be that u have concieved and then lost and concieved again straight away..... i had this with one of my previous pregnancies, apparently its quite common. the implant bleed means that the embryo has just reached ur uterus so i would say its highly likely that this has happened. just ask ur doc to rescan and check ur hormone levels...... good luck

mama2be12.31.09 - 917 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) not too sure about the dates, but my sister for both pregnancies had the implant bleed, first one they gave her pelvis rest, but now they know shes ok for this one so they r treating her like a normal low risk pregnancy. good luck and congrads. and with the dates right now they are the most accurate, so maybe you conceived a month sooner than u suspected. which maybe a nice surprise!

AshleyNicole1016 - 917 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I'm not really sure what say, but like jastinel said, get your levels tested. Did you hear the heartbeat? I measured a weeks, 6 days ahead and I'm still measuring that.

nutnut - 917 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i dont know if you should worry or not, honestly but when i went in for my scan they told me i was a 7.5 weeks when i shouldve been at leat 8.5... they didnt tell me anything else but i heard the heart beat. i wish i could tell you whether to worry or not, but i cant. if youre concerned i would talk to the dr. about it and make them aware that you believe there is a discrepency in the dating
