i started bleeding at about that time too when my bf and i had sex. so we stopped for several days and it never went away...i went to the doc at 14wks and found out i have a partial placenta previa (its when the placenta covers the cervix)i am now about 16wks pregnant and have been bleeding on and off since 12wks.

its normal to bleed during sex at the beginning of pregnancy bc your cervix is extra sensitive bc it is changing for pregnancy. also there is a lot more blood flow to it, so it bleeds easier. as long as the flow of blood doesnt INCREASE, then its ok. this happened to me and i called the doc and this is what they said.

Is there very much? If it is anything more than a little spotting caused by irritating the vagina/cervix during intercourse, then you should get it checked. You might have a low lying placenta (placenta previa I think it's called) where the placenta is covering the opening to your cervix. When this happens, bleeding is common. Your doctor will be able to diagnose this with an ultrasound and make suggestions for you to help reduce the bleeding in the future. As the pregnancy progresses the placenta will often move away from the cervix. Take care, and I will keep you and your baby in my thoughts!
