I have been having a feeling as if the baby is balling up and my stomach hardens about every 5 mins for the past hour. I am 36w4d pregnant, along with that I have a lot more pressure than usual, cramping in my back and pelvic area as well as many of them times she balls up I get a sharp shooting pain in my groin area. It`s not excruciating, but def doesn`t feel good. Should I call the doctor or should I just wait till my appointment Tuesday?

obxsurfer06 - 912 days ago Thank you ladies so much for the advice, I called L/D last night they told me I was in labor but not active labor as of yet. They told me to lie down, take a warm bath and drink juice, they were more concerned that she wasn't moving that much than the contractions. She said if I didn't feel her move 3 times in the next hour to come in, and if the contractions didn't get worse not to come in. I felt her move but the contractions have been the same since yesterday. This morning I woke up and part of my mucus plug came out (sorry TMI). Thank you ladies for everything!

sazauk - 912 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I would say that it sounds like you are in labour but not in active labour as of yet. I think it is best to call in and see what they say. Good luck

nevertooyoung19 - 913 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I would say (according to my experience) you dont need to go the hospital till you want to SCREAM lol. for me even crying wasnt enough pain... i was still at 3 and they wouldnt admit me.

mommy2lucas - 913 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) If it keeps up I would call. When I was in labor, I had no idea how to time contractions and for me it just felt like period cramps, just a bit more painful. Luckily I went in when I did because I was 8cm dilated! And my water broke 10 minutes later. I wish the actual arrival would've went that quick..I pushed for 6 hours:\

cleebel - 913 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) If it continues I would def say its that time. Good luck.

my.family - 913 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i would call just to make sure everything is okay. i was in the same situation at 32/33wks with my son. i thought it was nothing just BH, turns out i was in early labor for about 2days!!! lucky enough my cervix was closed and hard.

obxsurfer06 - 913 days ago I am going to give it another hour and if it still keeps up, I think I will give them a call and head in. Thank you :)
