im just starting to really feel babies movements and it still startles me and although its cool i find it really weird and sometimes uncomfrtable. maybe just i imagined it would have felt different! just wondering what other first time moms felt about this, am i a bad mom?

mama2be12.31.09 - 910 days ago wow someone else got the kick to the cervix! i thought i was the only one i jumped so high up off the couch when it happened, my best friend had no clue what just happened, not funny at all but glad im not the only one

EllaG - 911 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I don't like the kicks to the cervix! They sometimes make me feel like I'm about to wet myself. Also, the kicks in the ribs are getting a bit uncomfortable now. Sometimes I wish that he/she would quieten down for a bit as it can be difficult to sleep or get comfy, but we'd a fright last week when baby was turned around and transverse so I didnt feel what few kicks he/she could manage, being so squashed. Now I'm just glad to feel them.

NeverPreggers - 912 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) It's great and all to feel him kicking because I really know he's a person, but when I'm trying to sleep and he's pinching my skin between his foot and the mattress, it is extremely uncomfortable and sometimes painful. It doesn't make you a bad mom to dislike being assaulted from the inside.

mama2be12.31.09 - 912 days ago thanks, i still feel bad about not wanting to feel it, i guess ive just never had that feeling that hes not ok in there. each time it happens i move an talk to him to try to get him to stop! it was a lot cooler when it was just flutters i cried the first time, now i want to cry for other reasons lol

nutnut - 912 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i like feeling it, it reassures me. i havent felt it move in almost two days and im freaking out. but its still early for me. i usually feel it wiggle at least once a day so you can see why im a little paranoid. feeling the baby move is great no matter how odd it feels. =) youre not a bad mom. i remember with my daughter at the end she would jab me in the ribs and it would hurt like hell. i would push on her a little to try to move her down lol but it didnt work heh.

mommy-ofa-boy - 912 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i just hate the kicks in the ribs

mommy-ofa-boy - 912 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) i think its amazing it lets you know he is really alive

abbyquiet - 912 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) it still feels wierd for me, it's cool, but it's still wierd and startles me and is also uncomfortable most of the time. you're definitely not a bad mom.

lisab123 - 912 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) I do not even remember what the feeling was with my first. Now I am 14 weeks and just waiting to feel it. Are you feeling the flutters or the actual kicks? Maybe he is kicking you in a spot that makes it really uncomfortable for you. I thought it was awesome to sit on the couch and watch my belly move. I cant wait to feel mine. You are not in any way a bad mom. Probably just not what you had imagined. Hopefully it gets better for you as he gets bigger. Hang in there.
