Fetal distress during contractions?

Has anyone ever experienced fetal distress while having contractions? Yesterday I was just relaxing and meditating and every time I got even the slightest contraction (even bh) or increased pelvic pressure, my baby would kick and squirm like crazy!! I ended up stopping and going for a walk because I was afraid the contractions were hurting or distressing her.... Is it normal for babies to wiggle a lot during contractions? Ever since then she`s seemed fine and has been back to just giving me little rolls and bumps (nothing crazy like during the contractions), so I`m not sure what to think... I haven`t had any contractions since either though. :( Any thoughts?

courtenay - 909 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) well they are supposed to be moving around its a good sign, i remember doing my NST's and she would be moving like crazy in the early ones and i always passed with flying colours until i hit 37.5 weeks. then my strips started going weird and by 39w1d they decided she was in too much distress and had to take her. we had other complications as well though (not trying to scare you here) but i know they measured fetal distress by the changes in her heart rate and the LACK of movements during my contractions. and my contractions were so insignificant i could barley even feel them.
