Ok - so DON`T ask me why I did it as I have NO idea... I can say that I 100% percent trust my boyfriend and he does nothing but treat me like a princess... as well as the fact we`re always together so he has no time whatsoever to cheat.. Even when he goes to work, we work at the same place (though I`m on mat leave) so I know nothing is going on there as well.. Anyway, back to the point - dunno what made me do it but I read his text messages on his phone.. I wasn`t looking for anything incriminating, I mean - I didn`t expect there to be!! So Imagine my surprise when I read a text saying `Call me, Vicki xxx`.. WTH is that all about?! I mean that`s not even the bad part.. When he phone bleeped he was feeding our son, I chucked him over his mobile and went and did some washing and ironing.. about 45 minutes later I asked him whether the text message was anything or nothing and he LIED to me and told me it was his Dad replying to something he`d asked.. Honestly, I;m just gob smacked!! I didn`t think anything of him telling me his dad had texted him and then when I did look at his phone I didn`t in a month of sundays expect to find anything?!!!! I dunno what to do.. I don`t for a second think he`s cheating on me - but why did he all out lie to me like that? I just don`t get it.. :{

You listed reasons why he couldn't be cheating which makes me think you are ignoring the signs that he could be. I read my So texts all the time and he reads mine we have NOTHING to hide so I have no reason to get mad if he reads mine while I am out.

heidismummy - 904 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) to be its glaringly obvious. he is cheating on you. and believe me cheaters always find time to cheat when they want to, even if its mainly through communicating long distance etc etc. my ex bf was the same, i was with him ALL the time and i mean ALL the time! i even left my family and went to live with him because i wouldnt believe a single bad word they said about him!! i called the girl, trust me you get a much more HONEST answer out of the girl than you would out of a man who is lying and looking to let you hear what you want to hear. don't dellude yourself, you are worth more. ring her and find out the TRUTH!!!

happyforest - 905 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) you dont think he is cheating...so do you think maybe he just has a new 'friend' named vikki...who he likes so much or flirts with enough to put "xxx'??? i know that no one wants to think their SO is cheating, and its so much easier to not think that, but you have to look at the reality here. and you also say you dont think he WOULD cheat, but he is already trying to get into contact with someone. maybe he HASN'T cheated, but he is trying to get some other girl to call him...which can lead to cheating, why else would he be doing that? if it was a friendship, he wouldnt have to hide it, AND since you guys are ALWAYS together, you would know about it. so something is going on, dont be naive, maybe it hasnt started yet and its not too late, or maybe something has happened. either way the sooner you do something about it and get it figured out, the better!! i hope your boyfriend can be as honest as you think he is. good luck

Diane-taketwo - 906 days ago Rating: 0 (0 votes) Oh wow. I'd be having a talk with him about that. Any idea who Vicki is? If any woman texted my husband with the sign-off 'xxx' I'd be quite upset!! Even if he is not up to anything, it sounds like Vicki sure is. Men can sometimes enjoy flirty attention, and not realize that they are opening the door to trouble if they 'humor' an advance, even if they have no plan to follow through... it's an ego stroke they enjoy. My husband and I have a rule about our phones - he can look through any and all of my calls and tests, and I can look through his. Having this rule up front means there would be no need for any reason to feel bad about bringing up a text from an unknown female. Good luck!! And back off Vicki!!! >:(
